I’m going to be totally honest…this felt wrong at first. 🙈 I grew up folding everything. And our adult closet? Still perfectly organized… clothes hung, folded, color-coded (thanks to my husband 😉). But when it comes to our kids’ clothes? Nope. We don’t fold. Just bins, sorted by category: PJs/undies, tops, bottoms. Done. Toss it in and move on! For socks I organize and store them in a basket by the front door. We have one basket for pairs of socks and one for mis-matched socks. It’s been SO HELPFUL! With baby # 4 on the way and so many other responsibilities at home, I’m all about choosing ease where I can. We plan to teach our kids to fold and do their own laundry when they’re ready, but for now? This system is a lifesaver.
