Did you know how many cues you could have for just one jump? 🤔 People are often shocked when they start agility training just how much information you have to give your dog. It’s a brain test for everyone! Each behaviour I cue on the jump gives the dog information about what to do with their legs. I could talk about dog mechanics all day but put simply: my dog needs to know which leg to take off with, where they’re aiming to go next and how long their strike should be. You’ll notice that he barks the whole time, something he’s always done but I don’t mind it, he’s having fun - this is his hobby too!
