Today, I visited the Kugbo West Marginal Field (PPL 205) in Ogbia Local Government Area, Bayelsa State. Together with my team, we inspected the discovery well KW-1, where preparations are underway to commence workover operations within the next 60 days once weather conditions improve. The well is projected to produce approximately 2,500 barrels of oil per day (bopd) and 12 million standard cubic feet per day (mmscfd) of natural gas. Looking ahead, three additional wells are planned for development in 2026, positioning the asset for an average production target of 10,000 bopd and 60 mmscfd of natural gas. This development is backed by 28.8 million barrels and 180 bcf of proven reserves, with significant upside potential in deeper zones.
