И вот что важно, она начала изучать функциональную медицину, нутригеномику, электростимуляцию мышц, митохондриальную биологию, аутоиммунитет и микробиоту. Она искала биохимические рычаги, которые привели ее к пониманию, что нейроны критически зависят от энергетического обмена, и у пациентов с РС часто есть митохондриальная дисфункция!
