So I tried out the new Smart Script feature in iPadOS 18 this week! 👀✏️⬇️ It’s impressive, especially the handwriting smoothing (it’s SO GOOD with cursive writing) and now I’m craving this particular element of Smart Script in other notetaking apps 😂 I do hope to see other elements of Smart Script more fleshed out before public release. Scribble to Erase works well, but adding space between words feels buggy with existing words being pushed to random lines and dragging other things with it (keep in mind this is still the developer beta) But it generally looks and feels promising so far. I just can’t get over the refined handwriting — it’s SO satisfying to use.
