Location details👇🏼 1. Bayfield County: Take the back roads on the way to the lovely town of Bayfield. You could also take the ferry over to Madeline Island or kayak the sea caves. 2. Minocqua: The photo you see here was taken at Raven Trail just outside of Minocqua. Grab some pizza at Monical’s and stop at Dan’s Minocqua Fudge for some sweets. 3. Timm’s Hill: Climb to the top of the tower, walk the trails and grab a bite to eat at Hill of Beans. 4. Mountain Fire Lookout Tower: A much taller tower than Timm’s Hill. The platform at the top is very small but the views are worth it! 5. Door County: The photo you see here was taken on some random back road. I’d recommend checking out Peninsula State Park, Cana Island Lighthouse, Ephraim, and the famous curvy road. 6. Osceola: A cute little town with a waterfall right off main street. You can also ride the Osceola & St. Croix Valley Railway for a unique way to see the fall colors! 7. Interstate State Park: To be honest, I’m not super familiar with this park and can’t remember where I shot this photo. I visited briefly many years ago but I remember it being pretty! 8. Maiden Rock Bluff: A lovely spot overlooking the Great River Road! 9. Driftless Area: Can’t go wrong anywhere in the Driftless Area! I suggest simply hopping in the car and going on some long country drives. Phrag. Driftless First bloom from this seedling. The petals are shorter but exceptionally well-rounded compared to its siblings I have seen, creating lovely visual symmetry with the broad dorsal and inflated pouch. Not quite white—more of a charming creamy yellow that blends into peach and blush pink across the petals and dorsal, with the pouch shifting from warm yellow to a rich rose pink. Overall very cute small flower, any suggestions on the cultivar name?
