Sometimes dumbing down my problems is the best way to go. Yes I have acne, but would I rather be sad at home with my pimples, or living my best life in Spain with my pimples?

The dumbing down of students regarding the First Amendment is tragic. Entitled students think they own the campus when no one does. Taxes and endowments fund most of the costs, not tuition. Therefore, the campus is open to everyone with very few restrictions put on free expression.

My book club will be reading Dumbing Us Down by John Taylor Gatto this month. While I haven't started reading it yet, I know the main ideas behind the book. Gatto, a 30-year veteran teacher discusses how and why public schools teach indifference, emotional reliance, intellectual dependence, provisional self-esteem, and acceptance of a privacy-free existence among other things. It is almost as if this study done by NASA goes hand and hand with Gatto's observations and conclusions. Have you read any of John Taylor Gatto's work? What did you think? THE SAT IS TOO EASY!!! The college board has been dumbing down the SAT progressively for over 20 years and the result is they’ve replaced actual challenging content with absurd word games that aren’t testing students on their abilities at all. We should go back to a genuinely difficult test that asks complex and long questions that really require a student to think so that we can use it to evaluate who would perform better in a college setting.

The biggest psyop was dumbing literally everyone down & convincing that magic doesn’t exist, & so they’re pursuing and holding onto breadcrumbs while deeply starving and being absolutely numb, drained & lifeless.

Bush, people thought and discuss the topic of the “dumbing down of America.” Our school system became not learning or growing scholars but a regiment of “test takers” who faced irrelevant questions. Teachers became more frustrated due to budget cuts which eliminated physical education and art. These two activities would help with stress, body image and obesity and allow students to tap into their innate creativity. Both help brain function. I’m fed up with this system of producing non-thinkers and herd mentality. There’s more you need to know. Or are you waiting to be spoon fed by those who do not have your best interest in mind?
