Read caption for details ⬇️⬇️ The single-pylon cable-stay road over bridge (ROB) is being constructed to replace a nearly century-old bowstring bridge over the congested GT Road (Grand Trunk Road) and across the rail tracks near Howrah Railway Station. This will be only the second one in the country, after the Atal Setu or the Mumbai Trans Harbour Link, to feature an orthotropic or solid steel plate deck. The bridge will enable improvement of traffic flow in the area as the new bridge will be four-lane instead of the two-lane century-old Chandmari Bridge that was constructed in 1933. This new bridge will enable Eastern Railway in remodelling of the yard to add more tracks and remove the bottleneck that currently causes delays for trains heading into Howrah Station as the clearance under the bridge span will increase to 134 metres from 60 metres of the existing bridge. Altogether, 54 cables strung up from the 81.4-metre high pylon will hold the bridge's deck in place. #bridge #kolkata #howrah #rob #manmadewonders

Sophomore Leandro “Leo” Símbolo had an amazing game against Lincoln Prep by scoring a team high 21 points(5 of 9 from 3 point line) 6 steals, 4 rebounds and 3 assist in a dominating win! Leo is a 6’1” guard out of the San Carlos Apache Reservation located in Eastern Arizona. Leo is a fun athlete to watch and a menace to coach against. Leo’s long wing span causes problems on the defensive side of the ball along side of his high basketball IQ, jumping in passing lanes and grabbing the steal and getting the occasional block. In addition to his defense he is very shifty and can get to the basket to either get the bucket or dish out for an assist. Dont leave him along out beyond the Arc because he can pull the trigger and make it rain! One of my favorite ballers as I’ve followed him for a couple years now when my niece @sorayahjohnson2027 played on the co-ed team with him. Recruiters don’t let this guy slip through your hands…Leo also recently became part of the 1000PT club this season as a sophomore.

The College of Idaho men's basketball team just had their FOURTH alumnus sign with a Division I program in a 12-month span. Former Yote Jake O'Neil opened that gateway last year when he committed to Idaho State. At the time, it was his only DI scholarship offer, according to Yotes head coach Colby Blaine. "I can't tell you how many texts I had from Division I coaches that responded back and said, 'man, I wish we would've taken Jake." O'Neil averaged 13.1 points and 9.3 rebounds for the Bengals. Now fellow former Yotes Tyler Robinett, Johnny Radford and Straton Rogers are following suit, making the jump from NAIA to DI level. "Watching what he accomplished at Idaho State, it's something that us as a team we looked up to," said Rogers, who signed with Eastern Washington. "Seeing what he did at Idaho State, it's allowing me to have a lot of confidence for next year."
