#Easy Crown Braid Tutorial

THE CROWN BRAID 👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼 SUPPLIES: -@thedrybar detox dry shampoo -elastic hair ties (I recommend clear for blondes, brown for brunettes, and black for black hair or very dark hair like mine) -Bobby’s pins (catch my New Girl reference? 😂) STEPS -Prep hair with dry shampoo and brush through. The grit from the dry shampoo will help the braid stay together throughout the day -section hair into 2 parts at the back of the head -begin a Dutch braid aiming towards the ear. Make sure you’re VERY comfortable with Dutch braiding before trying the crown braid. Let me know if you would like a tutorial! -Once you’ve worked the Dutch braid around the head, volume the braid by pulling on the petals of the hair -Finish off the braid with a 3 strand braid, tie off with an elastic, then pin the ends underneath the petals of the hair -Finish off with some hairspray and rock your crown 👑 This tutorial is for the Violet Sorrengails (from The Fourth Wing) and the Nesta Archerons (from the ACOTAR series) 📚😁 *SAVE this post so you can recreate this hairstyle! 😊 Please let me know if you have any questions!!

Easy crown braid without a full wrap-around dutch braid It's not quite so seamless, but it's worth a shot! I haven't practiced doing a full wrap around dutch crown where you start at your part and go all the way around your head in a LONG time — it's hard. 🥲 But I'm probably gonna practice some more.
