Little update on the new ecom - follow @ree2mz for more! Life has been.. 🫠 but I’m totally responsible for that. I like challenging myself for sure but this was def NOT the time lol. But here’s a few things I learned! 1. For a small ecommerce business, shipping costs can be a significant challenge. Unlike large retailers who have the resources to negotiate favorable shipping rates with carriers, small businesses often struggle to keep their shipping costs down. 2. Advertising can be expensive, particularly for small businesses with limited budgets. Advertising costs can vary significantly depending on the advertising medium, target audience, and the size and scope of the campaign. I hired a guy from Fiverr and so far it has not been very good. I modified the campaign and saw the results I’m seeing right now. However, he did better my website! 3. Starting a new business can be an exciting and fulfilling experience, but it can also be incredibly time-consuming. There are countless tasks that need to be completed before a new business can launch, and even after launch, there are ongoing responsibilities that require significant time and effort. Consistency is important but because of the renos, I’m struggling with keeping up AND keeping up with customer service.
