Miray’ın hastalığı maalesef sabit değil, zamanla ilerleyen ve her gün başka bir sınav çıkaran bir yol. Azalmasını beklerken arttığını görmek insanı daha çok yakıyor. Daha nöbeti yeni öğrendik, önümüzde ne var bilmiyoruz. Ama bildiğim tek şey, o savaşırken benim asla vazgeçmeyeceğim. Gözyaşım ona, duam Rabbime. Nothing says “fun day” like 21 electrodes glued to your kid’s head. We had an EEG today. Which is something we do every year or so to keep an eye on Lilly’s seizures and make sure her medication is still doing what it’s supposed to do. It’s not a big dramatic thing… it’s just one of those processes. But it’s long and oh so boring. And somehow she still handles it better than most adults would. 💘

Some days are not exactly how we plan to be. Partial seizures are not nice but we are grateful that it is just sometimes and not full seizures. MRI and EEG are always showing that Clara should have seizures all the time but her brain is saying: I don’t care, let’s go!!!! When the doctor saw her exams and asked about the seizures he was shocked that there are no seizures!!!!
