🎯 STUDY LESS, learn MORE—active recall is the ultimate efficiency hack! While others grind for 8 hours reviewing the same material, you can master it in 2 hours of pure retrieval practice. Upload your notes to AI-powered tools that turn everything into instant quiz sessions, forcing your brain to work harder, not longer. One hour of testing yourself without looking beats five hours of passive reading every single time. Stop wearing exhaustion like a badge of honor and start measuring results instead of time spent. Your brain doesn’t care how long you sit at a desk—it only responds to the intensity of mental effort. Work smarter, not harder.

WHY I WILL NEVER STOP WRITING ‘AESTHETIC’ NOTES 📝⬇️ ——————————————— QOTD: typed or handwritten notes? I get comments *constantly* saying that notetaking is a waste of time and I could not disagree more! Personally, notetaking is probably the best study method for me to really memorise information and make it stick in my head! Here’s the reasons why: [✨] If you are handwriting the information, you are connecting the material to a physical action which helps to cement information in your brains. [✨] By using your own words, you are testing your understanding of the topic. [✨] If you condense a whole lecture into one page of notes (as I did for the notes shown in this reel), you are practicing crucial summarising skills and making super helpful revision resources. [✨] If you are someone who struggles to remain focused on a task when trying to learn material, taking the time to write ‘pretty’ notes might help you out by forcing you to slow down and really absorb what you are writing down (this has been a game changer for me!) [✨] Adding colour and decoration makes it easier to recall and picture in your mind during an exam (especially if you colour code) ACTIVE notetaking is 100% NOT a waste of time! It is actually an incredibly useful and effective study method - it’s probably the easiest one out there to do! The thing that *is* a waste of time and won’t help you out is PASSIVE notetaking - when you mindlessly copy word for word from your textbook. I would never encourage anyone to do this and in fact I’ve got an entire guide on my profile with loads of posts on how you can take active and effective notes! If writing notes doesn’t work for you or help you study, that is absolutely FINE! Do what works for YOU! I personally also use lots of other study methods when revising! But NEVER judge someone for how they study and call it a waste of time because that is helpful to absolutely no one! ——————————————— #notetaking #notes #notestagram #studynotes #notesgram #studygrammers #studymethods #studymemes #studylove #studyinspo #studyinuk #studyplus #studysetup #studyaesthetic #aestheticstudy #stationery #stationerylover #stationeryaddict

🗒️There’s 100’s of note taking methods. Over the last 4 years, I’ve researched and used all of them to find 8 hyper effective methods which will help you learn faster and get the best grades of your life. Comment “note” and I’ll shoot over my guide. 😶🌫️Here’s a sneak peak ;) 🗒️ My three fav note taking methods: 🖖🏽Cornell Method: 1️⃣ Divide your paper into 3 sections. Left: cue, Right: note taking, Bottom: summary 2️⃣ Note taking: write notes regularly 3️⃣ Cue: write questions for each piece of information on the right column 4️⃣ Summary: summarize the lecture 🙋🏽♂️Question Method: 1️⃣ Ask one key question per slide 2️⃣ These questions don’t need to be complicated: “What is x” “How does x link to y” “What are the 3 components of x” 3️⃣Focus on writing the questions, after class you’ll answer these questions 🗺️ Mind Map Method: 1️⃣Draw a big circle in the center of the page, with the main lecture topic in the circle 2️⃣Branch off from that main topic into multiple sub topics, which each have their own branches to smaller sub sub topics 3️⃣Add context under each sub topic, at max add 1-2 sentences 4️⃣Use colors, branches, images, and symbols to maximize the use of your right brains creativity instead of just your left brains linearity to foster deeper understanding 💜 Love you guys! #notetaking #collegenotes #howtotakenotes #notes #collegestudent
