Sensor ECT: Engine Coolant Temperature 🌡️ Este sensor trabaja en base a un termistor, es decir, una resistencia variable térmica. Al tomar contacto con el refrigerante se transfiere la temperatura al sensor y este cambia su resistencia interna. En este cambio hay dos posibilidades que dependerán del tipo de sensor que sea; ⬆️ Sensor PTC: Positive Temperature Coeficent. En este caso, al aumentar la temperatura aumentará también la resistencia interna del sensor ⬇️ Sensor NTC: Negative Temperature Coeficent. En este caso, al aumentar la temperatura disminuirá la resistencia interna del sensor. Este es el más usado en la industria.
