This is one of my biggest issues about spending the morning at EPCOT!! Normally, we purchase park hopper tickets and head over in the afternoon because of this exact issue 👇 There’s barely any food options before 11am! If you are heading to EPCOT in the morning to hit up some popular rides and make the most of your Lightning Lane Multi pass, you need to eat before you arrive at the park OR reserve a table-service breakfast to get a full meal! The food and drink kiosks in the World Showcase are pretty vacant and closed until about 11am… the only areas that are open are the rides (Frozen Ever After and Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure), character meet n’ greets, some shops and maybe 1-2 kiosks for breakfast snacks. THAT’S IT! Don’t expect there to be food options in every country of the World Showcase, and you might have to travel pretty far to find an option that works for your family… You really need to PLAN for your breakfast and coffee options when at EPCOT in the morning, because they are few and far between.. PLUS the lines at the front of the park are incredibly long for coffee, so I would come already caffeinated or stop at the Joffrey’s at the front entrance of the park 🤗 After 11am though? It’s game on! And there are tons of offerings, which makes sense why the afternoons and evenings get so busy at EPCOT! Have you had an experience like this at Epcot before? One thing that really winds me up about Disney… the parking fees 😅 $30 a day just to leave your car there?! Not ideal. We found a little loophole and parked at Blizzard Beach for free, then jumped on the Disney bus to Animal Kingdom – and it worked 👏 You could even get the bus to Caribbean Beach Resort, then hop on the Skyliner to EPCOT or Hollywood Studios. All without paying a penny for parking. ✨ Epcot tips from a pro ✨ After countless visits (annual passholder life 🙋‍♀️), here are some rarely shared tips to make your day smoother, cooler, and a little more magical: 1️⃣ Enter through the International Gateway (near the Skyliner) — way calmer than the main entrance and you’re steps from France for breakfast 🥐 2️⃣ Club Cool is more than free soda — ask a Cast Member about the secret, limited-time flavors they rotate in 👀 3️⃣ The upstairs area of the Japan pavilion (above Mitsukoshi) is quiet, air-conditioned, and has beautiful views of World Showcase 🌸 4️⃣ Order the bread service at Spice Road Table — no reservation needed, and you can sit right on the water for fireworks 💫 5️⃣ Visit the Seas Pavilion right before closing — you’ll practically have the aquarium to yourself 🐠 Bonus: if it’s raining, duck into the Odyssey building (between Test Track and Mexico). I bet you didn’t know this EPCOT morning secret 👀 There are actually TWO rope drops at EPCOT and your entrance should match where you’re staying. Guests entering through the main entrance near Spaceship Earth are positioned best for rope dropping rides like Test Track, Soarin’, and Mission SPACE. Guests staying at a Skyliner or EPCOT area resort can use the International Gateway entrance between the UK and France pavilions. That puts you steps from Remy and much closer to Frozen at park open. It is not about one entrance being better than the other. It is about choosing the one that sets up your morning the smartest way. This is the kind of strategy shift that saves serious time. OPTION 1- Entering from the monorail/parking lot entrance of Epcot: Let’s imagine for a minute that your life revolves around a tiny short person (or people.) And, hypothetically, let’s say you’d prefer to save some of your Disney budget and NOT buy Lightning Lanes. What could you *realistically* expect your park day to look like? Here’s my go to plan for a toddler-centered day at the Epcot- without paying extra (follow in this order, for both wait time/popularity, and also I tried to not have you run around the park in circles TOO much) 🔹 Frozen Ever After 🔹 The Three Caballeros 🔹 Living with the Land 🔹 The Seas with Nemo and Friends 🔹Spaceship Earth ~this will be a good time for a lunch break~ Consider the Garden Grill in the Land Pavillion, a character meal with Mickey and friends! 🔹 Journey of Water, inspired by Moana 🔹 Journey into Imagination with Figment *don’t forget to check out the jumping fountains next door!* 🔹 Make a quick stop at the Green Landings playground to run around and stretch. It’s located outside between the Creations Shop/Test Tract. Now Head to the World Showcase to snack and explore! About Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure- unless you have access to Early Entry AND can enter the park from the Skyliner entrance, I don’t recommend attempting to rope drop this ride. Check the app for a dip in the wait time, probably closer to closing time will be your best bet. So here’s one version of an Epcot day, I’ve done this with my family and I’m confident in it. However, if you’re entering from the Skyliner- we’ll do it a little differently. Standby for version 2!
