Happy Wednesday!!☕️ This might just be one of the coolest places I have ever had coffee, right across from the Golden Gate Bridge! This week when Moms and I were in San Francisco we had to check it out!💖 Welcome to the Round House Café by @equatorcoffees in San Francisco. This is located at the Golden Gate Bridge Plaza. Soo what’s in our cups? ❤️☕️ Red Velvet Latte // $6.50 We both wanted to try it! And so glad we did! Great flavor, not too sweet, and creamy! Also ordered: 💜 Twice Baked Ube Croissant // $6.25 Highly recommend! Here you will find near 360-degree stunning views of the bridge and the bay. Along with coffee, teas, pastries, and other food items. After taking in the views from inside, we grabbed our coffees and croissants and headed outside. Just a short walk across the way you can take some incredible photos with the bridge as the backdrop. This was originally built in 1938 and is known to be one of the Bay Area’s oldest restaurants. Equator Coffee took over in 2021. This is a high traffic area so don’t be surprised by the lines, but it does go fast! Golden Gate Bridge Plaza is not only the entrance to walk/bike across the bridge but it’s also home to Roundhouse Equator Cafe house which has the most spectral views of the Golden Gate Bridge. They have specialty coffees, gourmet sandwiches and sweet pasteries that go along with this beautiful view. I ordered the egg salad sandwich on toasted Rye (flavorful & made just right, Lavender Vanilla Latte (which was devine) & a sweet almond croissant (so yummy)! The line was long to place the food order but I ordered on the app, skipped the line and had my food within 15 minutes while others waited about 30-40 minutes. BONUS: When you order on the app you receive loyalty points, even if you don’t live in the area order from the app not only does it save you time by not waiting in line but I also scored enough points that my Almond Croissant was FREE! 🎉 PARKING: Parking was limited to about 20 spots but right around the corner is a second overflow lot with ample parking and a short 2 min walk up. Parking is paid but not overpriced even though it’s a tourist area. THE VIEW: The view of the Golden Gate Bridge is Spectacular from this area and I think the best to get your pics at! Once you walk out of the coffee shop you go up a few steps and you are greeted with the beauty and splendor in all of its red glory! The place is large enough that even though there are so many other people around you will be able to get your money shot 📸. I wasn’t ready for this… My first coffee to almost sell out 😭 And it was a banger. This one from Ethiopia 🇪🇹 The birthplace of Arabica coffee (for those who don’t know). This genetic heritage arguably giving it its unique flavour profile. In Ethiopia, coffee is graded from G1 to G5 depending on quality, density and defects. A G4 like this can be a bit more mixed and hands-on, but sometimes there’s a real gem in there #bristolcoffee #coffeeroaster #ethiopiancoffee
