Prior to his death, Eric Dane sat for an interview with the understanding that it would only be shared with the world after he passed. Actor Eric Dane, best known for his starring role in the long-running ABC medical drama "Grey's Anatomy," has died at 53. Dane revealed in 2025 that he'd been battling the incurable degenerative neurological disorder amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, or ALS.
