Today, students are using technology to research biology, chemistry, coding, and more. As one student shared: "Now I use this lab to research biology and chemistry. It has given me the confidence to dream of becoming an engineer. The world feels much smaller and more reachable now." Ms Oliva (Student) The impact is visible across the school. As the Head Teacher Ms. Jazila Mgaya shared: "Before this lab, students only read about the internet in textbooks. Today, we see improved results, greater discipline, and a growing curiosity to learn. Maringeni is no longer a rural school—it is a digital school." Today, @lyrainafrica in partnership with @dodoma_stem_cente , successfully completed a full computer lab setup at Itiso Secondary School (Chamwino - about 75km from Dodoma town). From assembling computers (CPU, monitor, keyboard & mouse), installing Microsoft Office, Ekima setup, organizing the lab, to configuring internet access - every step was completed with excellence. The lab is now fully ready for learning. This is more than just a setup, it's a step towards empowering students with digital skills and preparing them for the future.
