Everything you need to know 👇🏻 This playground in Sydney’s inner west recently got an upgrade and we really enjoyed it. It’s conveniently located at the start of Sydney’s new Greenway - a new 6km pram & bike friendly walking route, and with the weather looking fine this week, it’s a great time to visit. 📍Ewen Park, 51 Foord Ave, Hurlstone Park 🛝A big activity tower with a giant slide as well as a smaller one, lots of climbing, a swing set, small bike track and a repair/petrol station, balancing logs and a seesaw. 🅿️ Street parking, or the closest light rail station is Dulwich Hill 🚲 The Greenway starts here, but you’ll need to walk along the footpath on the side of the road before it connects to the off-road section. Do not visit on a super hot day. There is shade, but not enough of it

Here’s why 👇 Ewen Park in Hurlstone Park is a must-visit for active kids, with a brand-new all-abilities playground and a fun bike track where little riders can safely practise their skills 🚲✨ There’s cute roundabouts, stop signs and even a ‘repair station’ for their bikes and scooters. Set along the Cooks River, it’s also the perfect spot for a family day out with picnic areas, open space to run around and easy access to the popular GreenWay walking & cycling track (6km)🌿 ✨ Hero play tower for climbing & sliding ✨ Toddler-friendly play area with sensory elements ✨ Bike track with road-style features ✨ Musical play equipment ✨ Swings including toddler & basket swing ✨ Picnic shelters, seating & shady green space ‼️ Toilets are up near the sports building 📍 Ewen Park, Tennent Parade, Hurlstone Park (street parking - no dedicated car park near the playground)

Things to know before you go: 📍Beals Park 63 Sea Street, Weymouth, MA 🅿️ there’s a small parking lot around the back at the 63 Sea Street entrance, as well as a few spots on Athens Street 🛝 the big kids playground is awesome, and there’s a smaller play structure for little ones, a half basketball court, a pickleball court, a gazebo with shade, and some paved trails around the park. 🛹 the skate park is great for all ages, we saw some incredible skaters and some tiny kids on their scooters. 🍦and @menchieshinghamshipyard is 5 minutes away in the @hinghamshipyard - the perfect post-playground treat! @seqwater’s MADDOCK PARK 📍Ewen Maddock Dam, 221 Connection Rd, Mooloolah Valley 🗓️Monday to Sunday ⏰5.30am to 6.30pm (September to April) & 6am to 5.30pm (May to August). This place is epic! We took a picnic and enjoyed a play in the undercover playground, a walk on the boardwalk and a bushwalk through the luscious greenery and it was beautiful! 👍🏻Toilets 👍🏻Shade 👍🏻Parking 👍🏻Pram Friendly - in certain areas 👍🏻Grassy Area 👍🏻Tables + Chairs 👍🏻BBQ’s 👍🏻Suitable for wheels/scooters - in certain areas 👍🏻Dog Friendly - on leash ❌Bites ❌Sips ❌Fenced  There is lots to do here - a swim area, a shaded playground, BBQs and picnic tables, a boardwalk and bush walks. We did go in the cooler months, so I would suggest bringing bug spray just in case the mozzies are out when it’s warm. I had gone to Maddock Park with the pram and my little ones balance bike - but hot tip, if you plan on doing the small loop trail, I wouldn’t advise wheels, there is a steep incline which I had to push a pram, balance bike and two kids. We had to give the playground at Yew Tee Park a try. The playground is built into the hillside at the park and you can take the slide down from a tower on a terrace at the hill. Located in Newmarket (40 mins north of TO) is the Environmental Park - a beautiful hidden gem in the heart of York Region. This stunning forest park has numerous hiking paths, and a new trail boasts 4 levels of boardwalks over a creek. The best part? All hiking trails within the park are paved and completely accessible! There's also a playground for kids. A free parking lot for visitors is found on Woodspring Avenue and there's nearby street parking too. Happy long weekend adventures! 👟

West Fenwick Park in Kent is giving ALL the vibes 🎉 It's literally a life-sized Chutes & Ladders and my toddlers were OBSESSED. Playground, picnic, trails, soccer fields we stayed for hours and barely scratched the surface. Pro tip: get there early because parking is limited! 10/10 recommend for families with little ones 🌿🛝
