How to make a study plan 📖 ⬇️ 1. Organize your dates. First I like to look at the time I have until my next exam. Depending on how much time I have and how busy I am, I will space out my studying and set goals for how much I need to do each day. 2. Make a list of every single topic on the exam. For example, for my Spanish exam I made a list including grammar, vocabulary, conjugation, and essay practice. This allows you to assess the content you need to review and then you can set deadlines for when to review each topic. 3. Divide content into easy, medium, and hard difficulty. For example, I struggle with thermodynamics but not acid base chemistry. So I know what I need to work harder at and what needs less time to review. This allows you to better plan and prioritize your study time. 4. Schedule your study sessions with specific goals. For example, let’s say tomorrow I am studying equilibrium for 2 hours, doing practice problems and notetaking, and I am studying it at 9 AM. Be very specific with your plan but allow some flexibility as well! This increases the likelihood of you committing to your study plan. 5. Your plan is complete! Now that you have your list of study topics, your deadlines for reviewing each topic, and your difficulty categories complete, you can go ahead and get started. Feeling like your syllabus is way too much and time is way too less? 😩Don’t worry, this plan works for every student, no matter what you’re studying! 📚 1. START WITH A PLAN, NOT PANIC 🧭 • Write down all topics. Mark them as: 🔴 Must-study 🟡 Should-study 🟢 Quick-revise • Focus on what truly matters first. 2. USE THE 45–15 RULE ⏰ • Study 45 mins, then take a 15 min break (stretch, hydrate, walk). • This keeps your focus sharp and avoids burnout. 3. ACTIVE RECALL 🧠 • Study → Close book → Recall what you learned aloud. • If you forget → recheck → recall again. This cements memory fast. 4. FEYNMAN METHOD 📖 • Teach the topic as if you’re explaining to a 10-year-old. • If you can’t explain simply → re-learn that part. 5. MINI NOTES MAGIC ✨ • Write only keywords, dates, formulas, or definitions on one sheet. • These become your last-day revision lifesavers! 6. POMODORO HACK🍅 • 25 mins full focus + 5 min break × 4 rounds → 30-min longer break. • Perfect for when you’re struggling to sit for long hours. 7. SLEEP + REVISION COMBO🌙 • Before bed, revise what you learned in 5 minutes. • Sleep boosts memory, this literally doubles retention! 8. BLUR METHOD 📖 • Read → Close → Recall → Check → Repeat • Each time, recall more detail. • This method forces your brain to actively remember instead of glazing over text. 9. PAST PAPERS = SECRET WEAPON📑 • 50% of exam prep = understanding question patterns. • Practice last 5 years’ papers • Highlight repeated topics, and time yourself to build exam stamina 10. SMART REVISION STRATEGY 🌙 • End your day with a 10-min recall session • Next morning, quickly review what you did yesterday — daily repetition = long-term memory. 📅 How to Study When Your Exam Is Tomorrow & You Know NOTHING 😭🔥 Panicking? Overwhelmed? Zero preparation? Don’t worry, here’s the ONLY plan that actually works when time is running out 👇 📘 Step 1: Don’t Touch the Whole Syllabus You don’t have time for everything. You only have time for what matters most → ✔️ High-weightage chapters ✔️ Repeated questions ✔️ Definitions, formulas, diagrams This alone can save your grade. 📚 Step 2: Emergency Study Plan (4–6 Hours) Follow this EXACT order: 1️⃣ 60 mins → Learn the MOST important chapter Watch a quick explanation → read → write main points. 2️⃣ 40 mins → Do past paper questions from that chapter If it repeats, you MUST know it. 3️⃣ 30 mins → Learn formulas/definitions Use flashcards or write on one sheet. 4️⃣ 60 mins → Second important chapter Only the basics + main ideas. 5️⃣ 40 mins → More practice questions Practice > reading. 6️⃣ 30 mins → Revise everything you studied today (Active recall!) Before sleeping → 10 mins recap This helps your brain store info overnight. 🌿 Step 3: Toppers’ Emergency Tricks ✨ Study in 25–5 Pomodoro cycles ✨ Don’t reread notes → test yourself ✨ Write answers in your OWN words ✨ Don’t open your phone, even for 2 mins ✨ Avoid new, very difficult chapters ✨ Focus on scoring areas (MCQs, definitions, diagrams) 💫 Reminder: You’re not late. You just need a strategy, not panic. You can still pass, and even score well, with smart effort today.
