The Prime Minister says constituents want the Woodgate Valley Visitor Centre back open, together we can make that happen. This Labour government is delivering for Woodgate and Bartley Green. Investing in our community. I've secured £20 million for the area to help bring back PRIDE in our community. 🏘️ I'm still taking feedback on how we should prioritise the investment, so please share your thoughts with me here: https://forms.gle/dt7ps4BFEzeMAAfP6 #birmingham #Edgbaston #Quinton #harborne #bartleygreen #northedgbaston

I am not a politician. I am Tyrone. Your neighbour. The person who lives here, walks these streets, and cares deeply about our community. I’ve spent most of my life standing up for what matters unity over division, equality over discrimination, and fairness over injustice. Now, I’m bringing those values to my campaign to become your Councillor for Bordesley and Highgate in the Birmingham May 2026 local election. I officially launched my campaign in July 2025. Since then, I’ve worked tirelessly knocking on doors, attending community meetings, and most importantly, listening. Because real representation starts with real listening. I am fighting for a fair deal for our community. If you ask my friends, they’ll tell you I’m like a dog with a bone. When something isn’t right, whether it’s missed bin collections, fly-tipping, antisocial behaviour, or services not delivering… I don’t let it go. I challenge. And I keep going until I get answers. I am never going to apologise for expecting nothing but the very best for Bordesley and Highgate residents. For the past eight months, I’ve answered your calls, responded to your emails, and walked the streets of our community with you. And I will continue to show up for every resident of Bordesley and Highgate. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if i can help you.

There are still over 16000 people homeless including 5000 children. Minister Browne’s new rental rules are going to make an already unbearable situation worse. Rents will continue to increase and homelessness will worsen. It does not have to be this way. Renters need to be protected from insane rent increases.

This week parliament debated the e-petition on changes to Indefinite Leave to Remain, 821 of my constituents signed the petition. I was unable to attend but have shared my thoughts above 👆 The consultation is open until 12th February, I encourage everyone to feed into the consultation on the government page. #birmingham #Edgbaston #harborne #bartleygreen #northedgbaston #quinton

NHS waiting lists are down by over 30,000 at University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust since Labour came into government. That’s 30,000 fewer people stuck waiting. 30,000 more getting the treatment they need. We’re cutting backlogs, investing in staff, and getting our NHS back on its feet. What does the NHS mean to you and your family? 👇🏽 #birmingham #Edgbaston #Quinton #harborne #northedgbaston #bartleygreen

The attempted mass eviction in Bridgetown, Co Wexford is totally unacceptable. I have no doubt that the landlord is trying to take advantage of the Govt’s new rent rules. This is what happens when bad regulations are rushed through the Dáil. The evictions must be resisted!

For too long, communities like mine in Bartley Green felt decisions were made about them, not with them. What is the Prime Minister’s message to my constituents about how politics can be a force for good? #PMQs Watch my question ☝🏽 #bartleygreen #harborne #Quinton #Edgbaston #northedgbaston #birmingham

I will always stand up for the residents of Bradford West and fight for their needs. I support building more homes in Bradford West and across the country, but developers must ensure that proper standards are met and residents’ needs are addressed. Until I see clear improvements to the current issues, I will not support Keepmoat building more homes in my constituency. @bradfordmdc @keepmoathomes

Budget discussions continue tonight at Central Bedfordshire Council after last week’s proposal didn’t pass. Councillors will review the revenue budget and capital programme again. One of the key issues remains council tax support for vulnerable households and scrutiny of efficiencies. I’ll update residents once tonight’s meeting finishes.

Last year FF/FG slashed funding for vital homeless prevention schemes, including tenant-in-situ. The result was fewer homes purchased & more families forced into homelessness. This was a conscious decision by the Housing Minister & he is doing it again this year!
