Madagascar, you beautiful! Going offline was something I looked forward to but leading up to it, I was anxiously trying to clear work and was getting so stressed out. Then I went off the grid for a week and it was the best thing ever! I was completely disconnected and uncontactable (except for emergency via satellite phone) and I didn’t think about work at all. I was present every day, enjoying the company of new and old friends in the expedition group, soaking in the sights and sounds of the Madagascar wilderness. I was loving it so much that I didn’t wanna come back online because I knew the barrage of messages and emails that would come in lol. Definitely wanna do this off-grid thing more often!
