This is a silly little hand-drawn animation I created frame by frame on paper for my animation class. Our requirement for this assignment is to morph from our food of choice (and I chose Banh Xeo) to a self-portrait and then jump back. Had a lot of struggle with this one and a LOT OF DRAFTS (my house is now filled with paper I used for this project i meant like a whole tower of paper). Animating a Gorilla Walk by inbetweening my 8 drawings on 6’s to find 24 drawings on 2’s. I’m trying a thicker line and spacing the hands and feet based on a fraction of the distance traveled in this loop. Next I’ll make a few edits and improve the attitude of the walk and Character Design then it’ll be 48 drawings on 1’s with a smaller line and more detail like fur vs skin, hand/foot poses, better arcs, etc.
