When I got to this waterfall on Faroe islands, the wind was so strong that it was hard just to even stand up. The wind force was so powerful that it made the water coming down from the falls go up. I guess this is a woman’s therapy for all the aches of an ordinary day. 😂🫣 It’s my time to unwind… I put together outfits and snap some photos in front of the mirror. Some might think it’s a weak solution, but for me, it’s perfect for a day like today, when the word “rain” barely begins to describe the downpour. Not only that, but it feels like it’s been raining nonstop since we got back from Mallorca, and I’m starting to complain… which is rare for me. Thank God that in just a few days we’re flying to New York, at least I have something to think about and something to do at home. I need to prepare well for my first trip to America. But for now, Sabinka, get dressed, take a picture, have some coffee, chocolate for a better mood, read a magazine from Poland, and all the anger and sadness will pass. And what about you guys? 🇫🇴ꔷ UM LAGO SOBRE O MAR│De cima do Penhasco de Trælanípa, é possível ter uma das vistas mais surpreendentes das Ilhas Faroé. Em uma ilusão de ótica, o lago de Sørvágsvatn parece passar por cima do mar: isso porque são apenas 140 metros de falésias os separando. O lago também forma a cachoeira de Bøsdalafossur, que cai diretamente no oceano. O Sørvágsvatn é o maior lago do arquipélago, localizado próximo à cidade portuária de Sandavágur, na ilha de Vágar. São cerca de 40 minutos de carro da capital Tórshavn, na ilha de Streymoy - a viagem atravessa um túnel por baixo do mar. Seguindo por essa rodovia que liga as ilhas, são nove minutos ao norte de Sandavágur até um estacionamento chamado Midvágur, de onde começa a caminhada de 6km até o Penhasco de Trælanípa. No geral, a caminhada é considerada fácil, mas alguns pontos passam perto de desfiladeiros e é preciso manter-se atento. Você pode tentar fazer o trajeto sozinho, com ajuda de mapas, mas como são nomes complicados e pouca sinalização, é recomendado estar acompanhado de um guia. ✈️ É possível voar para as Ilhas Faroé a partir de várias cidades da Europa, como Paris e Oslo. Porém, o melhor caminho é por Copenhague, na Dinamarca, de onde os voos duram apenas 2h15. O maior aeroporto do arquipélago fica na ilha de Vágar. Você já se aventurou pelas Ilhas Faroé?
