جزایر فارو 🔹️جزایر فارو یا جزایر فاروئه (به معنی: جزایر گوسفند) نام جزایر هجده‌گانه‌ای است که به عنوان یکی از منطقه‌های خودگردان دانمارک شناخته می‌شود. 🔹️این مجمع‌الجزایر در شمال اروپا و منطقهٔ اسکاندیناوی، بین دریای نروژ و اقیانوس اطلس شمالی، تقریباً در فاصله‌ای برابر از ایسلند، نروژ و بریتانیا واقع شده‌است و پایتخت آن توشهاون می‌باشد. 🔹️سال ۱۸۱۴ از نروژ جدا شد و از سال ۱۹۴۸ به‌صورت استانی خودمختار از پادشاهی دانمارک درآمد. 🔹️آن‌ها در طی این چند سال مسئولیت بیشتر مسایلشان را در دست گرفته‌اند؛ به‌جز دفاع (اگرچه دارای نگهبان ساحلی محلی هستند)، امور خارجی و دستگاه قضائی که بر عهدهٔ دانمارک می‌باشد. 🔹️فارو عضو اتحادیه اروپا نیست. 🔹️از مجموع ۱۸ جزیره‌ای که جزایر فارو را تشکیل داده‌اند، ۱۷ جزیره مسکونی‌اند و بزرگ‌ترین آن‌ها به نام استریموی ۳۸۵ کیلومتر مربع مساحت دارد. 🔹️اقلیم آن معتدل، بارانی و اغلب ابری است. 🔹️تنها ۶ درصد اراضی این جزایر قابل کشت هستند و فراورده‌های کشاورزی آن به سبزیجات محدود می‌شود و غلات در آن به عمل نمی‌آید. 🔹️صنایع دستی و ماهی‌گیری شغل‌های اصلی مردم می‌باشند و صدور ماهی عمده‌ترین منبع درآمد آن محسوب می‌شود. 🔹️پرورش گوسفند و دامداری نیز از جمله مشاغل ساکنان آن است. The Faroe Islands, Denmark 🇩🇰 The Faroe Islands, or simply the Faroes, are a North Atlantic island group and an autonomous territory of the Kingdom of Denmark. They are located 320 kilometres (200 mi) north-northwest of the United Kingdom, and about halfway between Norway (580 kilometres (360 mi) away) and Iceland (430 kilometres (270 mi) away). The islands form part of the Kingdom of Denmark, along with mainland Denmark and Greenland. The islands have a total area of about 1,400 square kilometres (540 sq mi) with a population of 54,000 as of June 2022.

More info on this stunning spot👇😍 📌 Save this for your future trip to the Faroe Islands Klakkur is a stunning mountain offering 360 degree panoramic views of the surrounding fjords. Located in the north-east region of the Faroes on Borðoy island, this spot is definitely not one to miss! More information below: GETTING THERE 🚙 You can park quite close to the top in a small car park (coordinates: 62.2265134, -6.6086998) and hike 15-20 minutes to the top. Or you can start from the bottom from the town of Klaksvik and hike to the top - this will probably take over an hour. You don’t have to pay for parking at the top either! BEST TIME TO GO 🌅 Sunset is probably when you are likely to get the best light. All of the clips you can see in this video were taken at sunset. As you can see, the sun set perfectly in between a little gap in the mountains 😍 (For context we visited at the end of May) IS IT BUSY 👥 As is the answer with many places in the Faroes, No! We visited during the most incredible conditions and barely a handful of people came and went during that time. We basically had it all to ourselves 😍 RANDOM FACT ℹ️ The route from Klaksvík to Klakkur is called ‘Ástarbreytin’ by the locals.
