beginning the quest to get reacquainted with a dad that I never got to know very well. we never realize how much (or how little) time we have. don't put off saying all the important things you feel. Much more to come on this adventure I'm just beginning #fathers #lifelessons

I know what it’s like to carry battles no one sees. To be fighting inside your own mind, with all your heart… and still show up strong for everyone else. To be hurting… and still protecting the people you love. That’s the weight of a man who leads. And it’s a reality that many men will never admit. I’ve been there. You don’t have to bleed in silence to prove you’re strong. You don’t have to break yourself just to be the protector. There is real power in facing your truths… not hiding them. In choosing healing… not just endurance. The man your family, your kids, and your team need… is not just the one who is there. It’s the one who is whole, present, and alive with them. If this message resonates with you, it’s because you know. You’ve been carrying too much, for too long. Time to lead yourself the same way you lead everyone else. #Husband #RealStrength #Leadership #InnerWork #Fathers

Follow @theactofhumanity as we restore your faith in humanity, post by post ✨💛 Mothers, men, and women all play essential roles within the emotional and social structure of life, but one reality often overlooked is how men’s emotions are underrepresented or dismissed. A moment like a father becoming emotional when his daughter gives him flowers—simply because she realizes men rarely receive them while alive—reveals something deeper: men are often expected to provide, protect, and endure, but not to openly receive or express care. That reaction is not weakness; it is the release of something long suppressed—the recognition of being seen, appreciated, and valued in a way that society does not always offer men. The statement that men “only get flowers at their funeral” reflects a broader truth about how emotional acknowledgment for men is often delayed, indirect, or absent. What this moment highlights is the need for balance—not just in roles, but in emotional expression. Men, like anyone else, require affirmation, softness, and recognition while they are still here, not just in remembrance. It’s a reminder that care should not be conditional or postponed—it should be expressed, visible, and present in everyday life. #MensMentalHealth #EmotionalAwareness #HumanConnection #Fathers #Appreciation

Responding to trolls. Recently, I saw this message in my inbox. I didn’t think much of it, and then @soheefit also told me she received something similar. Being honest, negative comments and messages are like water off a duck’s back most of the time. You can’t be on social media for over a decade without developing a thick skin. But, with our first-born daughter due imminently, I actually thought it might be a good time to briefly explain how we navigate social media. I would LOVE to share more of my personal life. I would love to be able to share special moments that are important to me. But on social media, the more you open up, the more vulnerable you become for a subset of trolls who are waiting, hoping something bad happens to you. So if you ever wonder why some people seem become more closed off on social media as they spend more time on it, this is probably why. Back to regularly scheduled programming tomorrow. P.S., At the end of each post I let you know that if you want to support me, you can order my best-selling book, Everything Fat Loss (Iink in profile). #pregnancy #pregnant #father #fathers #parents

8 yrs ago I lost in court It was a legal battle that last over 2 years Aftrr we separated we both moved on I was single and did not@date anyone for 2 years while I dedicated my time to my son and being a present stable parent for him No partying, and very little “me” time outside of work But I loved every minute of it After 2 years I met someone - no plan, no intention - it just happened My new relationship developed slowly and became serious and committed As a coparent I was able to split time between my son a new partner In time they formed a bond I didn’t want to stay single - I was committed to being a family man I wanted to give my son a loving family - something I had failed at So I embraced our relationship without losing sight of my son Before divorce was finalized we decided to start a family I did not think I could lose custody during the divorce But it happened. So I doubled down. I worked tirelessly to stay connected to my son We Skyped and FaceTimed everyday The first separation was tough - it lasted for almost 9 months In that time his brother was born. But we FaceTimed from@hospital, and as son as his brother was born we called him. We then travelled with the baby to be reunited with my son My advice is to focus on being steady and consistent no matter what. If you get the opportunity find love but don’t look for it. Let it find you when you are truly ready. I have an amazing relationship with my three sons now - and yes, the oldest is overseas FOLLOW me @dadwithoutborders FREE guide - see bio EBOOK about to drop - SAVE THIS POST #divorceddad #fathers #singledad
