Fifth Wall Love ❤️ As most of you know I am a HUGE fan of including the ceiling in my decor. I often get comments "Why would you do this" or "It makes the space feel smaller", well I thoroughly disagree! So here's my top 3 reasons why I think it works well in my home, and it could in yours too! 1. It adds interest to a space, often taking away from the fact it's a small room. 2. It draws the eye upwards, tricking the mind into thinking the room is bigger. 3. It's cosy! It creates a cocoon effect when used as part of a colour drench, which means there is no start and no end making the room feel larger. Would you colour drench? The first coat fear was really real here - the paint seemed so dark in contrast to the white. How dark was this room going to be completely drenched in Teron by Farrow & Ball? And I mean everything: the walls, skirting, cabinetry, even the anaglypta ceiling. Well it has been a total game changer. Zero regrets! During the day, the room feels warm and bright in this muddy green, and at night time it is even warmer, calm and cocooned.
