Hopes follow up appointment with the vet went really well! They were able to easily pop the infection in her finger out and there was healed tissue underneath 🥲 They are very happy with her progress. She gave us all a huge scare 😅 Her weight is still not where it should be so I’m going to focus on fattening her up. I’ve been feeding her up until the point that she refuses to eat more and I’ll continue to do so. She’s going to be continuing her antibiotics for a few more weeks. I just have to apply betadine to her shell and finger daily and let her bask for 15-20 minutes until it dries then rinse and put her back into her tank. If you watch till the the end you can see that she has pretty much returned to her original self & behaviors 🥹🥲 I can’t put into words how relieved I am and how grateful I am for everyone who showed support during this time. The team of doctors at the animal hospital and the staff there have been incredible, they told me people were calling from all over the world in support of Hope 😳 how absolutely amazing ❤️ I promise I’ll continue to give updates love you all 🫶🏻
