How I used @adobefirefly to make this stop motion collage animation #AdobePartner Tutorial: Go to firefly.adobe.com Select “generative fill” and upload your image #AdobeFirefly Scene 1 - Changing sidewalk backgrounds - Click “select background” which will automatically remove your background. This saves me time from having to rotoscope the subject - Describe the background you want and click ‘generate’ Scene 2 - “Stretching” the image - Click on “expand” - Drag the sliders to the size you want - I typed “slanted roof” and then clicked ‘generate’ Scene 3 - Adding the umbrella, kite, and balloon - Click on “insert” - Paint in the shape of your desired object - Type your prompt and click “generate” This feature was especially helpful to save me from having to buy props that I’d only use once for a video. I’ve noticed a lot of improvements in generative fill over the past year - especially with how it now automatically rotoscopes the new generated object to preserve the original background, which looks much cleaner.
