This machine rapidly assembles the abrasive layers used for grinding, blending, and finishing metal surfaces. ​The Anatomy of a Grinder's Best Friend ​This isn't just gluing paper to a wheel; it is a precise layering process designed for durability: ​The Assembly (0:00 - 0:03): The machine handles pre-cut strips of abrasive cloth (sandpaper). A specialized robotic head arranges these strips radially, overlapping them like the feathers of a bird (hence "flaps"). ​The Bonding: It presses these flaps firmly onto a backing plate (fiberglass or plastic) that has been coated with a strong epoxy adhesive. ​The Metal Center: Notice the metal ring in the center, pressed into place to allow the disc to be securely mounted onto an angle grinder. ​Why this design? É PPS com 10% de fibra de carbono — material de engenharia real sendo impresso camada por camada. E olha… o que ele aguenta não é brincadeira. Quando você bate na peça, o som é seco. Metálico. Por quê? Porque a fibra de carbono aumenta a rigidez e reduz a vibração interna. Resultado: estrutura densa, estável e absurda em performance. Agora segura esses números… Depois do recozimento (annealing), ele chega a cerca de 252 °C de temperatura de deflexão térmica. Sim, ele continua estrutural sob calor extremo. 🔥 Olha o que ele entrega na prática: 1️⃣ 🔥 Resistência térmica absurda Aguenta temperaturas que fariam muito polímero comum virar uma gelatina. Com recozimento, ele sobe ainda mais de nível. 2️⃣ 🧪 Resistência química e estabilidade dimensional É altamente resistente a produtos químicos, quase não empena e absorve pouquíssima umidade. Tradução: confiável em ambiente hostil. 3️⃣ 🚗 Aplicação de alto desempenho Automotivo, automobilismo, aeroespacial e peças industriais críticas. Isso aqui não é PLA “tunado”. É material que entra onde erro não é opção. Mas tem um detalhe… Não é qualquer impressora que encara isso. Precisa de bico entre 340 °C e 370 °C. Câmara aquecida. E o recozimento depois da impressão reorganiza a estrutura cristalina e eleva ainda mais a resistência térmica e mecânica. Sem recozimento? Já é forte. Com recozimento?
