Fleetway super sonic (also, there’s a little outro if yall wanna see more comic panels :3)!! The story of why the writers created fleetway super sonic is really interesting, I’ll put it right after the art credit art credit(all tumblr): Ciipher-arts, Candycatstuffs, Naurannasmess, Smallpwbbles, Smallpwbbles, Smallpwbbles, Smallpwbbles So, fleetway super sonic came into existence because the writers of fleetway didn’t like super sonic! They thought it was dumb that sonic could have this omnipotent power, where he was invincible with NO repercussions. So, in order to balance that, they made super sonic evil. Going super became a risk, not a given. If that was the main crux of the comic, I think I’d actually enjoy reading through it; however, one key thing is stopping me from reading through it is… THE FACT THAT SONIC IS SO MEAN TO TAILS! I LOATH IT!! Teasing is one thing ( I tease my sisters constantly) HOWEVER! Fleetway Sonic is just mean! Here’s a real quote he says to tails ,” well if I never see you again, tails… this is how I’ll remember you… as a little two tailed dimwit who’s always whining!”Any form of Sonic that is mean to tails just completely misses the mark. It’s completely out of character, I don’t care if the comic came out in 1992 before his character was truly set in the west! Archie sonic + SATAM + adventures of Sonic the hedgehog also came out roughly the same time as fleetway (1992-1993) and ALL OF THOSE had GREAT characterizations of Sonic. A lot of people defend fleetway by being like,” oh well I like that he’s flawed!” FLAWED? He’s flawed alright… FUNDAMENTALLY! There’s a difference in between a character being flawed (that being an intentional character trait, which is pointed out and explored within the story) and a a character being BAD. A character being flawed with no repercussions for bad actions isn’t satisfying as a reader. Oh well! Rant over :3 hope yall enjoyed the caption!!!
