They help in understanding how forces are applied to the body to enhance movement efficiency. There are three types of levers: 1️⃣ First-Class Lever – Example: Neck movement (Atlanto-occipital joint) 2️⃣ Second-Class Lever – Example: Calf raise (Ankle joint) 3️⃣ Third-Class Lever – Example: Biceps curl (Elbow joint) Understanding these levers is essential for physiotherapists, athletes, and fitness enthusiasts to improve performance and prevent injuries. 📌 Watch now to learn more! #Physiocation #Biomechanics #Levers #Kinesiology #Physiotherapy #HumanMovement #ExerciseScience #SportsScience #PhysicalTherapy #physiotherapy #physiocationbymadihakhan #trending #trendingreel #lever

Understanding levers just got a whole lot easier! 🔧📐 In this video, our teacher breaks down the concept of levers by clearly explaining where the fulcrum, load, and effort are placed in each class of lever. Simple explanations, clear understanding, and learning made fun — because concepts stay longer when they make sense. #chinmayavidyalayakunnumpuram #chinmayavidyalaya #levers #physicsmadeeasy #educationtip

Working on elbow levers to handstand on parallettes for the first time🥳 #calisthenics #calisthenicsbeginner #calisthenicsjourney

The one arm elbow lever is a great intro level one arm balance. Whilst not a one arm handstand it still offers the opportunity to learn a lot about how balance and control works when supported on one hand. Personally, I found the 1 arm elbow lever different enough from the regular 2 arm elbow lever and I would not recommend learning the 2 arm version first. Treat them as 2 separate drills! 1️⃣ - your wrist. Elbow levers place A LOT of pressure on your wrists. Keep volume low, build your practice slowly over time, ice your wrists after training and consider training on a surface with a slight decline! Don’t be cool. Don’t try to be a hero. Training is hard enough. Don’t take it out on your wrists. 2️⃣ - start on the floor and elevate your limbs. This will help you build control and general understanding for the position. Place your elbow as close as possible towards your mid line. Make sure to externally rotate your hand so it points towards the side! 3️⃣ - elevate your supporting hand. Take one leg or the opposite arm off the floor. Build awareness. Focus on how the weight shifts in your supporting hand. What do you have to do to stay in control?! (Hint: your weight has to be in the fingertips) 4️⃣ - at the end it’s about your back. When everything is well aligned you have to use your back muscles and back bending mobility to make the shape beautiful! Practice that on the floor! #calisthenics #handstand

First time doing an elbow lever on anything other than parallettes and I can’t wait to try it again elsewhere! It’s been only a week since I got back to practice these after my back nerve reinflamed and it has felt amazing to be back! Definitely have a lot to work on when it comes to my elbow levers but that’s how progress works! 😊 #elbowlever #calisthenics #calisthenia

Lever Systems in Biomechanics ⚙️🏋️♂️ The human body functions using a system of levers to facilitate movement efficiently. These levers are categorized into three types based on the arrangement of the fulcrum (pivot point) ⚖️, effort (force applied) 💪, and load (resistance) 🎯. 1️⃣ First-Class Levers Structure: The fulcrum is positioned between the effort and the load. Example: Nodding the head. The atlanto-occipital joint acts as the fulcrum, neck muscles provide the effort, and the weight of the head represents the load. Advantage: Can be adapted for force or speed, depending on component distances. 2️⃣ Second-Class Levers Structure: The load is placed between the effort and the fulcrum. Example: Standing on tiptoes. The ball of the foot acts as the fulcrum, body weight serves as the load, and the calf muscles generate the effort. Advantage: Always provides a mechanical advantage, making movement more efficient. 3️⃣ Third-Class Levers Structure: The effort is applied between the fulcrum and the load. Example: Bicep curls. The elbow joint is the fulcrum, the biceps muscle applies the effort, and the weight in the hand is the load. Advantage: Optimized for speed and range of motion, rather than force. Most human body movements fall under this category. . . . . . . . #trendingreels #viralreels #reelsindia #reelsviralvideo #follow #explorepage #like #trending #explore #instagram #instagood ##instagramreels #fyp #instadaily #trending #viralvideos #explore #fitness #athlete #reels #workout #foryou #fyp #like #comment #share #reels #trendingreels #reelitfeelit #viral #loveislove #physiotherpay #physio

LEVER- Levers in our body are formed from bones, joints and muscles. 1. First class lever – the fulcrum is in the middle of the effort and the load. 2. Second class lever – the load is in the middle between the fulcrum and the effort. 3. Third class lever – the effort is in the middle between the fulcrum and the load. #physio #physiotherapy #lever #physiotherapie #physiotherapist #physiolife #physiostudent
