What’s the best camera for a beginner outdoor photographer? 👀 That’s something I asked myself when I just started to learn photography years ago. Here’s a few things to think about if you are in that situation right now👇🏻 💡 Go easy at first My suggestion is to get a really cheap camera or even experiment with your phone at first. What you buy really doesn’t matter, I’ll explain what I mean. 💡 Experiment & Learn Once you have something you can practice with, practice a lot. Why? Because that’s when you’ll discover if you really like it or not. I don’t see the point in getting the best camera out there and after a few weeks you don’t use it at all. 💡 Upgrade slowly Test and learn at least 6 months or longer. After some time you will start to see what photography is and if it really is for you. That’s when I think you can start to look for a bit more expensive camera. During your experiment time you will discover a bit more of what type of photography you like and you’ll have more answers to the questions you had in the beginning. And you can make desicions based on that. 💡 Final reflections This is what I’ve done and I wouldn’t change anything If I started again. Learning photography takes time, I feel like I’ve just scratched the surface of photography and I would not consider myself an expert. I just try to write about things I’ve learned so far. It’s okay that it takes time, that’s the only way you get really good at something, by doing it over and over again. 👋🏻 Share this with your outdoor friend #photopassion #photojourney #outdoorphotography

Note: These are just my personal picks, not hard-and-fast rules. Creativity will always beat equipment, and you can absolutely use any camera to capture magic in any genre. Get out there and shoot! 🌍🦅 #photography #photographytips #camera #cameratips

If you are looking to enter the camera market, one of these 3 options would be my top recommendation! The Sony NEX-6 is the best designed NEX camera, and takes outstanding photos. I got mine for $177 used on eBay, and I’m going to be keeping this camera around for a VERY long time. The Sony A5100 is a hidden gem in Sony’s ecosystem. Very few people know about the capabilities that this camera has, but this thing packs a huge punch for its small size. Its fully flip up screen is my favorite feature to record yourself and not need a monitor. Then you have the A7IV, the best all around Sony camera under $2500. I’ve seen them for as low as $1950 on the used camera market, and that’s a steal for a camera that can make you tens of thousands in revenue. #sonyalpha #filmmaking #filmmakers #photographer #cameras #sonya6000 #sonya7iv #sony #sonyalphasclub #sonycreativespace #videoproduction

Yet another video highlighting this compact but powerful camera. After using it extensively—over 7,000 shots and counting—I still have nothing but praise for it. It’s incredibly easy to operate, slips right into any pocket, and consistently delivers great results. That said, the battery life isn’t the best. A full charge will get you through a day of shooting, but you’ll definitely want a spare for longer sessions. Also, there’s no viewfinder, which might be a dealbreaker for some. There are certainly other pocket-sized cameras out there that perform just as well, but I haven’t tested them yet. If you have a favorite, let me know! #fujifilmxm5 #fujifilmx100vi #fujifilm #cameras
