The decor is modern and stylish creating the perfect backdrop for a memorable dining experience. We tried the following: * Chefs platter for 2 which contained 2x prawns, 2 lamb chops, 2x panko halloumi and 2x wings - perfect platter if you want to try a bit of everything * Sirloin butter sauce steak - this was delicious – cooked to perfection and incredibly tender. The butter sauce added a rich decadent touch. * Chicken steak with MYNKnara sauce - this was equally as impressive; loved the sauce it was creamy, flavorful, and complimented the chicken beautifully. * Sticky toffee pudding - one of the best sticky toffee puddings we’ve had. It was rich and moist; the perfect sweet treat! * Drinks - Kiss on the beach and Tropical mojito - both mocktails were very refreshing Would definitely recommend visiting this spot! @mynksteakhouse offers a fantastic dining experience with delicious food, expertly crafted drinks, and impeccable service. Blue Boar Pub, near St James’ Park 🍷✨ @blueboarpub This elevated pub needs to be on your foodie list. The beef wellington & Bloody Mary alone are worth the visit. Ordering the Bloody Mary turned into a whole experience — I was talked through every detail & asked exactly how I like it (extra spicy, of course 🌶️), & it was made perfectly. They also have a great cocktail selection. Starters included a beautiful mushroom soup served with assorted mushrooms, blue cheese & caramelised onion on toast, & a creamy soup. The prawn cocktail was huge & refreshing, & the fried squid came with spicy aromatics & tasted super fresh. The main event was the beef wellington which was massive, perfectly cooked, tender & juicy, served with truffle mash, broccolini & a rich red wine jus🤍. We finished with a sticky toffee pudding absolutely drenched in caramel. A proper feast from start to finish. Definitely a must-visit.
