Arya’s honest review of the Froot Thief 👀 She absolutely LOVES these. And as a T1D mom, I love how incredibly gentle they are on her blood sugars. Before eating one, she was 72. Now let me be clear — we do NOT use these to treat lows (like she said in her review 🙅🏼‍♀️). Even though they have 15g of carbs, they’re not fast-acting. We actually tested one to see how it would raise her… and she ended up dropping into the 60s and needed glucose gummies to bring her up. That’s how gentle they are. So while they’re not low-treatment approved in our house, they are a GREAT snack option when we want something that won’t spike her. The snack reviews made it to Costco, and this time we’re doing a bad, better, best on sweet treat fruit snacks that I would put in my daughter’s school lunch (and eat myself LOL) ❌ Welch’s: BAD - Corn syrup, sugar, natural and artificial flavors, wax... Although these are my airport weakness, I will not be buying these in bulk at Costco. 🟡 Probiotic Strawberry Yoggies: BETTER - I would say these are about 80% clean. Made with real fruit, contains probiotics, but then we’ve got some palm kernel oil, natural flavors, and soy lecithin ✅ The Froot Thief: BEST - These went in my cart immediately. The only ingredients are fruit, fruit juice, plant fiber, and some fruit flavor. It’s like a cleaner version of a fruit roll up, which is just too easily for school lunches or bringing on the go!
