Wow the @tatamummarathon #philantropy #awards are always so inspiring! I’m honoured to be a little part of it each year and wow all 20 (except the two I was pregnant!) and counting ❤️! Here a little snippet. We presented to the winners of the photo journalists category and I snuck in a few impromptu words. A slightly comedic start as when the mike was handed to me, I had no idea if we were meant to speak or not but just went for it haaha! I have been part of the #marathon since it’s inception and I only do the #dreamrun each time, not a huge distance but as I often joke, the long distance running part for me is the #consistency of being there every year. At that start line, at these awards and finishing the race smiling! A staggering huge 54 crores raised for very worthy causes! Wow! As someone said, if you have it, giving is easy, asking is brave! I admit to not being a good fundraiser at all. I believe each one is able to contribute in their own way. Some with #fundraising , some with other things and some like me with #awareness and being part of this incredible movement. #Running and being one with our beautiful city! I run each year for @cpaaindia and it was heartening to witness all the #ngos #fundraisers and some #donors and ofcourse #sponsors and #organisers all celebrate this wonderful annual phenomenon! Kudos to all!
