Recently, I posted a Reel that has already gained over 3 million views. In it, I talked about why I won’t be having more children. Hundreds of women wrote to thank me for this honesty. I had no idea how many wonderful women around the world feel the same way I do. That tells me this is an important topic — and one that needs to be talked about. The biggest fear I face is the thought that a child might be left with “no one,” that he will be alone in this world. That’s exactly why I decided to write about how I see this and what I do with this fear. 1. One way or another, we all come into this world alone — and we leave it alone as well. Along the way, we meet many people, we learn how to love, attach, and let go. But in the end, our main support has to be ourselves. 2. Having biological brothers and sisters is by no means a guarantee of closeness in adulthood. Yes, a lot depends on upbringing and the atmosphere within the family — but unfortunately, not always. Our children will grow up and decide for themselves whom they want to build truly close relationships with. And it’s entirely possible that these won’t be their siblings. 3. I truly believe that the closest people — a partner, a life companion — are people we choose ourselves. These are the people who stay by our side for the long run. Every child eventually creates their own family, and it almost always becomes closer than the family they grew up in. You can move to another city or country away from your parents and still remain close. But without a family of your own, that’s a very different story. I hope my son will be able to build such a family. 4. At the same time, there is absolutely no guarantee that he will have a family. And here it’s important to say honestly: this is 100% his responsibility. 5. Just as it is his responsibility to find like-minded friends and build relationships with them. I cannot live this part of life for him, and I cannot have more children to compensate for my own fears. That is beyond my zone of responsibility. All I can do is let go of the situation and help him develop communication skills, emotional closeness, and the ability to be with another person.

I felt great in both pregnancies. But I managed my weight gain better this time. This isn’t a post about trying to avoid pregnancy weight gain, it’s simply about my experience and what has helped me feel even better this time around! Here’s what stayed the same: • Strength training 2–4x/week • Mobility 1–3x/week (underrated for joint pain + longevity) • Tons of water + electrolytes • Protected sleep! consistent bedtime and wake up • honoring my cravings & not stressing about food Nothing extreme. Nothing restrictive. Just supportive habits. So what changed? I have been more intentional. More protein. More awareness. Less “I’m pregnant so it doesn’t matter.” Pregnancy isn’t a time to punish your body. But it’s also not a time to abandon it! It’s a time to support it 🫶 ALSO NOTE that you can do “all the right things” and still gain more weight than you expected and that’s totally okay too!! Everyone’s body is different. Every pregnancy is different. Do what you can to stay healthy. Pregnancy weight gain is NORMAL AND HEALTHY. I’m just sharing my experience and what has helped me feel better this time around.
