Meet Cat from @gemmaebakeshop Gemmae Bake Shop started as a small food stall near Manila in the Philippines. They brought those same traditional Filipino flavors here to Long Beach back in 1993. They’ve been serving the community for almost 30 years. Still family-owned, run by a mother-daughter duo, and still keeping that same authenticity that people keep coming back for. I highly recommend visiting if you haven’t yet and stay tuned for their new Bixby Knolls location coming soon!

If you haven’t had the Lumpia Shanghai from @gemmaebakeshop, get on down and get some quick!! We all know Gemmae has all the fire baked goods, but they also serve up really good hot food on the daily. This Lumpia Shanghai is nothing but delicious. Made fresh daily, it’s perfect to serve at parties and for straight up lunching. I could eat these all day. Be sure to get sauce for dipping!!
