I wasn’t sure what body changes to expect on estrogen because of my prior gym routines. After 2.5 years of HRT (hormone replacement therapy) I have noticed significant muscle loss, but not completely. Other notable effects are fat redistribution in more feminine areas, reduced hair growth, and smoother skin. Gender affirming care is important. It saves lives. Cis gendered people get this type of care too. That’s where it originated from. The idea was that cis people receiving gender affirming care bettered their lives, so why not try it on trans identifying people. Surprise surprise. This also improved their wellbeing and outlook on their lives.
