An international team of scientists has created the first draft of a map showing how genes interact inside a human cell. This map shows how genes work together in complex networks. They found about 90,000 interactions among four million pairs of genes. The study used CRISPR gene-editing and computer programs to find these interactions, including connections between genes involved in diseases and drug targets. This new map helps us understand gene functions better and could lead to new ways to treat diseases.
