If you are learning German and feel stuck between A1, A2, B1, or even B2, this video can save you months of confusion. Most people fail German exams not because they are bad learners, but because they consume random content without structure. German requires level-based input, repetition, and real exposure to how the language is actually used in Germany. In this video, I share the best YouTube channels to learn German properly — from beginner level to near-native level. These channels are used by serious learners, students, and professionals preparing for German exams, Ausbildung, university, and work life in Germany. You will learn: • where to start if you are A1 or A2 • how to move from B1 to B2 without getting stuck • which content helps you understand real German spoken by natives • how to train your ear for work, study, and daily life in Germany • which channels help you reach C1 level naturally This list is especially useful if: – you are preparing for German exams – you want to study or work in Germany – you are doing Ausbildung or planning to apply – you understand German but struggle to speak fluently – you want to stop wasting time on ineffective learning methods This is not motivational content. This is practical, tested, and based on how German is actually learned successfully. Save this video, watch it again later, and share it with someone who is struggling with German. Follow for honest, realistic content about learning German, Ausbildung, work, and life in Germany. #learngerman

How I remember German vocabulary🇩🇪 I always write things down when I want to remember something, and it works well for me. But if you don’t have much time to study, I wouldn’t recommend this method. In that case vocabulary apps with spaced repetition can be easier and effective. Spaced repetition means that the app shows you words again at increasing time intervals so that you review them right before you would forget them, which helps with long term memory. For your information: A study from the US in 2014 compared students who took notes on laptops with those who wrote notes by hand. It found that students who wrote by hand learned more, understood the material better, and could apply it more effectively. One explanation is that writing by hand is slower, so you have to think about what is important, and that extra processing supports memory. Research from Norway in 2024 also found higher levels of activity between different areas of the brain when people wrote by hand. This suggests that handwriting engages us visually, mentally and physically in a way that promotes learning.

If you’re learning a European language, there’s a 99% chance it has genders. And this one trick helped me memorize them faster⬇️ In the video you see my German notes. The highlighting there is not for aesthetic. It’s a simple system. I used blue for DER (m), yellow/orange for DAS (n), and pink for DIE (f). After finishing a page of notes, I always took the highlighters and went through every noun again. That extra “slow down” moment forced me to pay attention to the genders one more time. And because I’m visual (like many people are!), those color associations stuck with me. Even today, I can “see” some nouns in their colors: blue if they’re masculine, orange if they’re neutral 🙌🏻 The method is simple but so worth trying😌 . . . Hi! My name’s Alexandra and I’m a first-gen student from Moldova. I went from 0 to C2 in 🇩🇪🇮🇹🇬🇧 completely on my own, moved countries alone at 19, and now doing my MSc in Management at one of the best business schools in the world✨ In my blog I’m sharing everything I’ve learned from teaching myself three languages, so click follow to not miss anything!

Ich probiere neue Materialien aus, teste verschiedene Methoden und bin noch mitten im Prozess. Deshalb kann ich euch noch keine perfekten Tipps geben. Aber wenn ich etwas Gutes finde, teile ich es natürlich mit euch.
