Golfers! -One day I got paired up with a pro golfer. As everyone does when they’re young, I was spirited and at the time was emotionally on a roller coaster. We chatted throughout the round but mainly just played golf. -I played a good round for me I was getting up and down from everywhere. Going through highs of making birdie and beating myself up after a bogey. I wound up shooting 72 even par. -As I watched him I noticed something, he was even keel the whole time. I couldn’t ever tell if he made bogey, birdie, or par. He seemed to hit every fairway and every green and didn’t seem to do anything supernatural but at the end of the round I say what did you shoot he said 67. -My mouth dropped and I said it just seemed like a walk in the park for you. What he told me helped me not just with golf but a life lesson. He said “Golf teaches a lot of life lessons, life is full of ups and downs but you don’t have to ride the emotional roller coaster, Instead enjoy the good and learn from the bad.” He didn’t know what was going on in my life but he said what I needed to hear. It truly helped me in a crucial part of my life. - My goal with my page is to help as many people as I can. It’s more than just golf for me but I want to help others through this crazy game we play.
