Here is the process for my latest portrait! I decided to color this with the 6b pencil in gray scale before going in with a few soft light layers for color. This helps me focus on the values and details. Finally, I adjusted the hues and added some luminance to bring it all together. I hope you enjoy the process! Try this painting technique if you like to get satisfied! This mixed media portrait was created on paper using a spray-painted stencil as the base. I applied thick layers of Golden acrylics and heavy body paint directly onto the face—no blending, just bold color placement.
