Built right into the sea 👇 Fyropotamos – Milos Island ❤️ These houses sit on the rocks so close to the water the shoreline almost disappears. Doors and balconies opening straight into the bay. Boats resting right beneath them. It feels like the sea is not beside the village but a part of it. This simplicity pulls me back each time. Aegean air, salt on the walls, families talking over dinner with waves at their feet. Just daily life lived at the edge of the water. 4 days in Milos It sounds short, but it’s exactly the right amount of time to see the highlights without rushing and still leave wanting more. Day 1: Arrive, pick up your ATV, drive to Firopotamos. Spend the afternoon swimming in that impossibly clear turquoise bay. Grab a gyro from the beach kiosk. Explore Plaka village at sunset. Watch the sunset from Plaka Church or Plaka Castle. Ease into island time. Day 2: Sunrise at Sarakiniko Beach. Stay for a swim and jump off the lunar cliffs if you’re brave. Late lunch at Medusa in Mandrakia fresh seafood with your feet practically in the water. Sunset at Plaka Church or Plaka Castle. Day 3: Full day Kleftiko boat tour. Sea caves, dramatic rock formations, water so clear you see straight to the bottom, go to Oh! Hamos for dinner straight after the boat tour. Day 4: Beach morning go to Tsigrado Beach and explore the surrounding beaches. Visit Klima and stay for dinner at sunset time at Astakas. Four days won’t cover all 70+ beaches.
