Save my guide for the fairy tale town of Grindelwald! We spent 3 days here and out of those days this was my favourite day! We stayed at the @bergwelt.grindelwald, which was a perfect base for our adventures. One of the perks of staying here is that they give you a free pass for the Grindelwald First gondola and a regional train pass with a 3 night stay! Highlights: Top of Europe - ice palace -views of Aletsche Glacier -highest train station in Europe - Eiger Express gondola ride up Grindelwald First -Lake Bachalpsee -cliff walk -adventure activities If you have more time in this area, make sure to visit the neighboring town of Lauterbrunnen, Iseltwald, and Murren. @grindelwald_eiger @grindelwaldfirst

If you ever find yourself in Grindelwald… I 100% recommend this experience 🫶🏼 Save this for your future travels to Grindelwald, Switzerland! What you’re going to do: 🌅 Wake up early and head to the Grindelwald First gondola 🚠 Start with the cliff walk — this gets crowded fast, so going early really helps 🥾 Then follow the trail to Bachalpsee for the round trip hike (about 4 miles, ~2 hours, easy) 🪂 Head back to meet your group for paragliding The paragliding company we used is @paraglidingjungfrau — we felt so safe the entire time IMO this is even better than paragliding in Interlaken because you’re surrounded by 13–14,000 ft mountains! 🏔️ So if you’re in Grindelwald… Skip the “Top of Europe” tour — it’s very commercialized and extremely expensive! Grindelwald-First is one of the top places to visit when travelling to Grindelwald in Switzerland. We did some of the best adrenaline-rushing activities at Grindelwald-First and saw some of the best views including the famous Tissot Cliff Walk. . It is located at the top of the mountain and in order to reach at First you have to take a 25minute cable car from Grindelwald. The views from the cable car 🚠 are simply breathtaking and phenomenal. . Once you reach at the top of First there are so many activities you can do like First Glider, First Flyer, Mountain bike, Trot Bike and many more. 🤩🤩 . 👇🏻 Things you can't miss in Grindelwald We just spent a winter getaway in the heart of the Jungfrau Region and stayed at thr @belvederegwald. The experience was next level😍 Incredible Michelin star level food, a private sauna in the room, a beautiful spa, genuinely warm people and a location that makes everything easy. Waking up to the Eiger from the balcony was unreal🥹 ❄️ Top things to do in Winter 🥾 Winter hiking and snowshoeing Top routes include First to Bachalpsee, Grindelwald to Bort and the Panorama Trail above the village. 🛷 Sledding Take the train up to Kleine Scheidegg and sled down with views all the way towards Wengen, thats what we did and it was amazing! Pure fun and surprisingly scenic. You can use the sledges from the Hotel. 🎿 Skiing and snowboarding Up to 200 km of slopes across the Jungfrau Region. Even non skiers will enjoy the mountain atmosphere. 💆 Spa and wellness The hotel has an amazing spa with beautifuly decorated Sauna, Pool, Whirlpool and if you get the Eiger Suite even a private infrared sauna in the room😍 They also have massages if you are interested in that. 🚆 Train ride to Jungfraujoch Visit Jungfraujoch at 3464m and experience the top of Europe. It's definitely worth it but honestly very touristy and expensive so if you are on a tight budget skip this spot. 🎢 First Flyer and Glider Adrenaline with a view. One of the most fun ways to see the landscape from above. Plus ice skating, curling, cross country skiing, the First Cliff Walk, Männlichen viewpoints and winter festivals. Grindelwald First was a highlight of our trip, but it was a bit like the Disney of the Alps. It’s full of adventure-packed things to do — and the volume of people that come with that! We arrived at the cliff walk right when it opened, and this line had formed at the lookout point 30 minutes later. If you’re not there first thing in the morning, we’d recommend skipping the wait at the overlook — the views are just as incredible all around the mountain! #grindelwaldfirst #swisstravel
