Day 39 of getting to $10,000 MRR on stuff that I’ve built myself. Days left: 146. I’m building Guildly which is a Slack like interface for my Claude Code agents, so that people can use it to run a single person company, where all the other employees are AI agents. Up until now, I’d given instructions to the different agents about how to behave, and what to do for things like approvals, creating tickets and stuff like that. The problem was that expecting these agents to do exactly what u asked in their system prompt usually doesn’t work. Based on the model being used and the amount of tokens passed and context window available, the agents would react differently in different situations. Now we can’t afford that to happen, because certain things must flow in a certain way when it comes to approvals. That’s why I’ve been working on a flow to make it more deterministic. Instead of making it just based on the agent, actually adding processes, like when u create a ticket, the pm must create the PRD, the approval mode ui should come every time, the PM should consult the engineer if there is a backend change involved, the frontend agent should make 3 options for the UI for the user to choose from. Some parts of enforcing were done already using hooks in Claude Code. When an agent doesn’t respond in the chat in a certain way, the hook makes the agent regenerate the response. For example if manager tags an agent to do work, the agent must tag them back once the work is done. But also if the agent has tagged the manager, manager need not respond if it’s just a status update, or else the agents will go in a loop replying to each other.
