I tried. I really did. But in the end we all knew I wanted a digital dash in the BMW ✨ Knocked up a quick mount, reused some of the old parts, and made it talk to the @ecumaster_official EMU black with the click of a button 🤙 Thanks @tjdrift for the ripper deal on @haltech parts! YES! WITHOUT a Motec ECU, you can run a Motec C1xx dash! I feel like every few weeks I see someone ask this question. This C127 runs off of a Haltech Elite 2500, and although it takes a little programming to get the communication setup it is completely doable. My MFD was fine but I love this setup so much more as it allows me to see every parameter I care about and in different conditions. The negative, the screen is BRIGHT and you need to pick a brightness that is just right during the day and night. I have yet to discover how to change the brightness without hooking up to a PC. Why I didn’t use an Haltech IC7? Honestly I just didn’t like the shape of the unit, and the interface wasn’t my favorite, and the C127 is INFINITELY customizable. I’ve made a R34 GTR MFD display for it, which is still in testing. MFD template is not going to be free as I’ve spent way way too much time making it, but should be done shortly! other negative, ignorant people will call your car a GTT 🤣 #motec #haltech #elite #ecu #dashdisplay #nissan #bnr34
