Lately, I’ve been drawn back to quieter things reading, sitting, taking things in slowly. I observed myself when I always want to rush i'll remind myself "Go Slow" n put myself on slowmo a bit. Nervous-system regulation takes time to practice. N now i go like "go slow, slow ur pace, it's okay". This book needs no introduction which i wonder how i havent read this yet. is about the Persian mystic poet Maulana Jalal-Ud-Din, known as Rumi and his companion Shams Tabrizi. This book explains how Shams transformed a scholar into a Sufi (mystic) through love. When we talk about "love" right - we always thought love is only in the romantic way - how couples should act ke apa ka im getting bitter talking about this) and probably the last to ask for advice on this topic 🤣 🤣 but nak cerita what i have "felt" i understand now about that word. And - interestingly it shifts the way i see it - because the definition of it now comes from being "held" by Allah. Once you felt that feeling - the world shift around you that - love at it's highest form is Him ❤️❤️❤️ and we ourselves are an extension of His Love. And the world and no one can break you cos we resonate with that frequency. Love is not defined by humans. It's a higher force. #hanis #terustumboh
