🌼 SAVE THIS RECIPE 🌼 Did you know that with just a handful of simple ingredients you can make non-toxic, organic, good for you, good for the planet, hormone disruptor-free, fragrance-free, additive-free, herbal, small-batch recipes like this one for you and your family at home? Here’s a super simple calendula honey balm you can make at home that is amazing for dry skin, irritations, eczema, protecting your skin from nasty weather, etc. Here’s how we make it 3 tbsp calendula infused oil (click the linked reel to see how to make it) 2 tbsp beeswax 4 tbsp shea butter 1.5 tbsp raw honey a few drops of optional essential oil of choice (I chose lavender) In a double boiler, gently melt together the infused oil, beeswax, and shea. Let it cool slightly (you do not want to add the honey while it’s too warm as it will loose its beneficial properties and likely separate). Once cooled, add the honey and optional essential oil. Mix and pour into jar or tin. Let fully set before sealing and enjoy 🌼 Save this recipe and let us know in the comments if you want more videos like this!

Witch vs. Rootworker — Two Different Traditions/ #spiritualsciences , both have Sacred Power… A rootworker comes from the lineage of African American Hoodoo: herbs, roots, prayers, Bible scripture, ancestors, and the land. A witch works through a broad spectrum of spiritual practices—European traditions, nature worship, spellcraft, and personal magickal systems. One works with magick… the other works with Spirit. One casts… the other conjures. Both are valid. Both are powerful. But they are not the same. Know your lineage. Honor your tradition. SAVE THIS BEFORE YOU NEED IT 🌿 Your spice rack has been a medicine cabinet this whole time. Oregano — natural antibiotic Rosemary — hair growth and memory Sage — hormone balance Thyme — clears your lungs (we just made a thyme honey — check the linked reel) Lavender — nervous system and sleep Mint — bloating, IBS, nausea These herbs have been used as medicine for thousands of years. Today I made rosemary hydrosol for the first time and honestly… it felt a little magical. Dried rosemary slowly simmering, steam rising, and then watching that steam condense back into pure botanical water. That clear liquid dripping into the jar? That’s hydrosol — the gentle plant water captured during distillation. It smells fresh, herbal, and incredibly clean. There’s something really satisfying about learning these old-school plant processes and realizing how simple nature can be. Have you ever seen hydrosol being made before? #herbalism #rosemaryhydrosol #plantmedicine #herbalprocess #naturalskincare

🏵 DAFFODIL FOLKLORE 🏵 The daffodil is famous as the national symbol of Wales, replacing the leek in the 19th century. It is a wild flower that grows all over Britain, Ireland and Europe, and is one of the first flowers to bloom in spring. Often gracing roadside, gardens, woodlands and field boundaries. The daffodil, like all wildflowers, is intrinsically connected to the faery folk and the Scottish believe if you step on or pick one then you risk angering the fae. In Welsh folklore, the first person to spy a daffodil in bloom will have a fortunate year, usually of gold and silver. In traditional herbalism, the daffodil, although being a toxic plant, was used to treat tumours and alleviate pain. Although it has to be said that ingesting daffodils will cause sickness and vomiting, so best avoid this remedy! Interestingly, however, these toxic chemicals are cultivated in modern medicine and used in the production of alzheimers and dementia treatments. The daffodil is often worn by people on St.Davids day, the 1st of March. Both symbolising the national flower of Wales and also the flower for the month of March 🏵 Have you spied your first daffodil yet? 🌱 . . . . #welshfolklore #cymru #flowerfolklore #herbalism #eryrinationalpark

Somewhere between pregnancies, nursing, long days, and pouring into everyone else…you realize your body needs tending to, also. • And white clover? It’s not Big pharma. It’s not trendy. It’s quiet, steady support women have leaned on for generations. • Not because it forces anything—but because it helps your body do what it was designed to do. • White clover works gently by: Supporting the lymphatic system (where excess hormones can get “stuck”). Helping the liver process + clear hormones. Offering gentle phytoestrogen-like support (very mild, not overpowering). Calming inflammation that can throw everything out of balance. *It’s not about fixing your hormones overnight—it’s about bringing your body back into rhythm.* • And that matters, especially in seasons where your body has given so much. • But that’s not all this little plant does…. White clover also: Supports skin health (think internal support showing outward) Offers gentle respiratory support. Nourishes pollinators (which means better gardens + harvests) Fixes nitrogen in the soil—literally feeding the land it grows on! This is common in herbalism, one plant for many ailments- it’s called “panacea” and is a Greek word meaning: “all-healing” • Is completely edible—flowers and leaves (teas, infusions, even simple fresh use) And makes a beautiful, mild daily infusion you can actually enjoy. • You can dry it and infuse it into an oil (4-6 weeks) for balms and salves, eat fresh, drink as a tea, and make a tincture from it, too! (1 dropper 2-3 times a day for hormone support) • It’s one of those plants that takes care of everything around it, the soil, the bees, the animals, and us. ❤️💕🥰🙏 • The same ground my children are growing up on…is still teaching me how to care for myself too. • Herbalism isn’t about doing more. It’s about returning to what’s always been here. • The kind of care you don’t have to buy. The kind that grows wild. • Note: Always forage with intention, proper identification, and awareness of your body. This isn’t medical advice—just one woman sharing what she’s learned from the land. 🙏❤️ - - - #whiteclover #foraging #herbalist #herbalism #plantmedicine

Dandelions have such a bad rap, I think we can blame monoculture lawns for that. It's very ironic that dandelions are free medicine that many people would benefit from, yet we irradicate them with toxic chemicals all in the name of pretty lawns. CRAZY! Now start using this free medicine. One thing yall have gone crazy over in the past, is dandelion pesto. Take your favorite pesto recipe and subsitute dandelion for the greens. Pro tip: start by only subbing out half the greens with dandelion, as dandelion can be bitter. ALSO, always try to harvest younger leaves, the older leaves are more bitter. I'll be making more dandelion pesto this week for pasta night! It's an easy and delicious way to incorporate this medicinal plant into your diet! #dandelion #naturalremedies #plantmedicine #herbalism #holistichealth

For decades, people like @realbarbaraoneill who teach the truth about food, herbs, and natural remedies have been censored. She was banned in Australia for giving health advice. And like so many of us, if you talk about what plants have traditionally been used for, or share stories of what you’ve personally witnessed, or even worse, question whether pharmaceuticals are the only path… You face scrutiny. Or restrictions. Or worse. 🤬 I’ve been in this world my whole life. I grew up watching my dad formulate herbs that supported people when they felt like they had nowhere else to turn. I’ve seen cayenne 🌶️ used traditionally to stimulate circulation and blood. I’ve seen slippery elm soothe irritated tissues. But we have to be very careful what we say. What I can say is: Plants have been part of human healing long before modern systems existed. 🌿 And it’s time to remember that. Comment HEART or ❤️ and we’ll send you a link to our Cayenne and Slippery Elm blend, as well as our HeartLove blend. And as always, this video is for entertainment purposes only. 😊 With love, Jane XO #barbaraoneill #cayenne #cayennepepper #holistichealth #cardiovascular #herbalist #hearthealth #plantmedicine #heartattack #truthseeker #thematrixisreal #questioneverything #familybusiness #smallbusinessowner #wellnessjourney #herbalism #slipperyelm

In case no one ever showed you this… Clove water is one of those simple, traditional things that people have used for years — and it’s so easy to make at home. It’s naturally rich in compounds like eugenol, which is why it’s often used to support things like digestion, bloating, and overall gut balance. I tend to come back to this when things feel a bit off — simple, grounding, and effective. ✨ How I make it: • 4–6 whole cloves • Filtered water • Leave overnight ✨ How I use it: • 1 cup per day • Morning on an empty stomach • Or warm in the evening ⚠️ A quick note: Cloves are powerful — more isn’t better. Avoid if pregnant, breastfeeding, on blood thinners, or with certain conditions. Simple. Traditional. Effective. Save this so you remember it 🤍 #naturalremedies #herbalism #holistichealth #guthealth #traditionalmedicine
