Check out how we won the grand prize (50K) at @hardmodemit , the first AI Hardware hackathon. We built 4 objects in 48hours, with new abilities for each object that brings them to life. They also communicate each other to figure out how to best help the user, just like the movie beauty and the beast ✨✨ Thanks to the amazing organizing team @cyrusclarke @quincykuang @marcelosco @designintelligencelab @aha_medialab And my teammates who went extra hardmode with me @matthieujhuss @alex.htet.kyaw @chinatownlucy @w_ooooonder @brady.y.lin @itscristianodasilva And amazing sponsors @e14fund @claudeai #aiobjects #mit #aihardware #hackathon

how to prepare for your first hackathon, for complete beginners with no coding experience or tech background two steps to potentially take: 1. install a modern framework + other setups associated onto your computer (in this case, react). And google a youtube tutorial specific to your computer and follow it all the way through 2. Understand how debugging will work. Use stack overflow, github copilot, and chatgpt to handle errors. Paste the error you get into the internet and go to stack overflow first, work through the answers, and continue persevering through the hackathon until you resolve your problem. That’s just two recommendations. Best of luck on your first hackathon! You got it! Thank you to @mobilepixelsus for the gorgeous transportable and touch-screen monitor, and @asiansnacks.us for providing some hack snacks! Both products are linked in my beacons.ai link! The next steps after that would be to figure out how to implement features and apis through youtube tutorials. I can possibly make a video on that if in demand. Remember, that these tips worked for me but everyone is different! #computerscience #hackathon#computerengineering #softwareengineering #nerds #womenintech #faang #google #meta #engineering #engineeringmemes #explore #reels #tech #vr #github #programming #programmingmemes #cs #explore #foryou #reels #hackathonwin #collegelife #college

Served as a judge at the just ended HSIL Hackathon 2026 Accra Hub in partnership with Harvard Public School of Health, the Ghana Health Service & University of Ghana Business School. I was tasked to identify solutions that are not only innovative, but systematic, scalable, and capable of real impact across diverse contexts. It pushed every idea beyond surface level thinking into what it actually takes to work in the real world. Kudos to the finalists. Strong ideas, well thought through, and grounded in real problems. It’s been an insightful experience seeing what people are building and how they are approaching challenges within health systems in Ghana today. #hsilhackathon2026 #Ghana #ghanabrandsquare #funding #investors

Participating in the HSIL Hackathon 2026 was an amazing experience for us. It gave us the opportunity to turn our ideas into something meaningful and work on real-world problems. Throughout this journey, we learned a lot — from brainstorming ideas to building solutions under pressure. Most importantly, working with my team was the best part. We collaborated, supported each other, and grew together. It was not just about competition, but about learning, creativity, and teamwork. Truly a great experience that we will always remember. 💫 #HSILHackathon #GreatExperience #Teamwork #LearningJourney #Innovation
