Here's how I did it⤵ I'm here to spill the beans on my IELTS journey last year. Picture this: I'm juggling a full-time job, barely any prep time, and zero physical resources or classes. But guess what? I still managed to bag ✨9✨ in Reading and Listening, and 7.5 in the rest, with an overall score of 8.5! 🎉 Now, if you're starting from square one, don't sweat it. Everything you need is online! Trust me, if I could crack it, so can you! 🤫 Once I knew the structure, had found online resources, and had a notebook and pencil (and the right headspace!), I followed these steps below for three consecutive days right before the exam: ✨ Day 1: ↬ Remove all distractions. ↬ Watch "Understand IELTS" playlist by E2 IELTS on YouTube. ↬ Take notes like in a real classroom; use Google or ChatGPT for questions. ↬ Use the Pomodoro technique and take breaks for hydration and snacks. ↬ Test yourself with British Council's IELTS practice tests to identify strengths and weaknesses. No need for strict timing yet; focus on tips and improvement areas. ✨ Day 2: ↬ Google IELTS practice tests or visit ieltsonlinetests.com for past papers. ↬ Split your day into 4 sections, one for each component. ↬ First, attempt each section without time limits, then start setting timers, gradually reduce the time to improve speed. ↬ Write and compare your Writing answers with sample responses. ↬ Record and listen to your Speaking practice; seek feedback from a friend if possible. ✨ Day 3: ↬Review notes and browse for last-minute tips on vocabulary and stress management. ↬ When feeling relaxed, take the "IELTS Full Mock Test" on E2 IELTS YouTube channel. ↬ Complete additional practice tests; focus on practice, dedication, and confidence over desired scores. Oh, and I've got your back! 💪 Save this post, and if you need the resources, just comment "resources," and I'll dm you. And hey, here's the tea: I'm starting a series on my master's application journey, starting with the IELTS hustle. Leave a follow for more quick tips and tricks! Your support means the world! 🤍 #ielts #academic #ieltsacademic #ieltstips

❌Do not fall for traps of preparing in 5 days if English is not your regular language. If it is, even a 3 days prep is enough✅ 🌎IELTS is International English Language Testing System. It’s a globally recognized exam that measures your English language proficiency in 4️⃣ areas: Listening, Reading, Writing, Speaking ✅Certain universities or courses in the UK, Canada, Australia etc. have a fixed criteria of band 7 and above to be considered. So it’s important that you know exactly how to make it work without wasting 1000s on consultation! ❌ 🕰️Day1-3: Learn the course structure (YouTube Videos truly help). Take a free online mock test (available at IDP and other websites) to know your calibre. 🕰️Day 4-10: For Listening- learn through YouTube, Movies and Podcasts (all in UK ENGLISH) For reading and writing: Reading = speed + skimming (not word-by-word)Writing = learn structure (Task 1 + Task 2 templates) 🕰️Day 11-15: Build your core skill in the gaps identified. We tend to speak US English. So getting the UK English vocabulary right was my challenge. Keep Reviewing your mistakes (this is where most people improve fast) 🕰️Day 16-18: Take 1 test daily under timed conditions. It’s important to stick to the timing. Analyse mistakes (don’t skip this!) 🕰️Day 19-21: Read Loudly, to clear your fluency. Write with UK time, location.. (quarter, half past, postcodes, synonyms and such) Record yourself and send videos to friends who might have taken the test or live abroad. No fancy Vocabulary will get you through. Stick on fluency and UK English. This is the trick! PRACTICE Daily. ⚠️Expect to pay ~₹18K–₹19K for India Extra costs apply if you Reschedule, Retake a section of the test to improve marks. Opt to take a digital test rather than pen-paper one. It saves you time to get the result faster. ✅Learn more tricks to crack the test faster with 1:1 meeting through link in my bio 🫶 . . . . #indianinuk #studyabroad #ieltspreparation #ielts #fyp
